Cancer Center of People`s Liberation Army(PLA) is one of the departments of Xinqiao Hospital, a gardened hospital, the second affiliated hospital of Third Military Medical University. Cancer Center of PLA was authorized by Board of Health in the army in 1995, after it was founded in 1988. In 1995,it was granted to confer master`s degree, in 1999 to confer doctoral degree and to be as a clinical post-doctoral station. In 2000, it was accredited as an Institute of Oncological Biological Techniques. In 2002, it was granted by Board of Health of Chongqing as Key Lab for the Research of Oncological Diseases. It is also the most stressed subject either in the army or in Chongqing.
