Ⅰ、General introduction of department of haematology

The department of haematology has 50 hospital beds,which consist of 42 ordinary hospital beds and 6 standard air 1aminar flow beds.The equipments of the hospital rooms are modern and perfect,the total price of them is about 5,000,000 yuan.There are 25 medical staffs in our department,2 of them are professors and 3 are professors.All doctors’ educational backgroud is above master degree,among them 1 has got postdoctoral degree,4 have got doctoral degree,4 have got master degree.What’s more, 1 of them is master tutor,3 are graduate tutor.The makeup of our doctor’s professional title and educational background is in the predominant status compared with other same domestic speciality，and it is not only the technical support of the development of some new techniques and professions,but also the guarantee of perfct service to our patients.

Maste of Department,Chen-Xinghua,male,who was born in December, 1956, is Medicine doctor,maste doctor,professor,master tutor.He assumes the office of the director commissary of ChongQing haematology speciality technical committee、the vice- director commissary of military haematology speciality technical committee、the vice- director commissary of ChongQing oncology speciality technical committee of combination of Chinese and western medicne therapy academy、the commissary of technical committee of TMMU、the commissary of the military medicine technical competency test committee and editor commissary of 5 journal such as “ChongQing Medical Joural”、“Practical Medicine Joural of China”and some other journals.Doctor Chen engages in the basic and clinical study of the mechanism of the haematogenous stroma’s lesion and the basis of hemopoietic stem cell transplantation.He also assumes the topic of National Natural Scincine Fund、the bronch topic of national “863” special purpose topic、the scientific research topic of TMMU and other 3 topics,the total scientific research funds is over 500,000 yuan.Doctor Chen has published over 30 articles in domestic statistic resources journals,edit 2 monographs as vice-chief editor and participate in editing 3 monographs.Up to now,he has won 2 second prizes for science and technology’s progress of Military,1 third prize for science and technology’s progress of ChongQing.Also he has directed 11 postgraduates and 3 doctors.

Particular therapy of Department of Haematology

1. Hemopoietic Stem cell transplantation:up to now ,we have successfully finished over 60 patients’ HSCT,the age of patients is from 2 years old to 65.The rate of success is 100%.The range of the patiens’ age is the widest of domestic hospitals.The correspond diseases consist of acute lymphocytic leukemia 、acute non-lymphocytic leukemia、malignant lymphoma、multiple myeloma、small cell lung cancer and so on.

2. Synthetic therapy for children’s blood tumor:we use synthetic therapeutic management to children’s blood tumor such as acute lymphocytic leukemia 、lymphoma et al. For normal risk groap’s patients,we adopt normal sequential chemical therapy according to domestic standard;and for high risk groap’s patients,we adopt strengthening therapeutic measures such as autologous and allogenenic Hemopoietic Stem cell transplantation .All these managements increased the therapeutic efficiency of children’s blood tumor much a lot .

3. High-dose chemotherapy in the treament of blood tumor:in order to eliminate the tumor cells completely,we increase the medicine dose of chemical therapy,the total effective rate is 96.45%.The best choice of this therapy follows two circumstances:consolidated therapy to blood tumor which is CR;Secondly inducing remission therapy to blood tumor which is relapsed or difficult to cure.The number of the patients who got this therapy has arrived to 410,which is the largest of the southwest china.

4. Synthetic therapy to immunological blood disease which is difficult to cure:we have taken several therapeutics (such as Synthetic plan with CsA、small dose radiation therapy to spleen area、Synthetic therapy plan with 7 different medicines and so on)to cure ITP、AA and several other diseases.By taking these therapeutics,we can not only get satisfying curative effect ,but also reduce the cost of therapy.

Ⅱ、scientific research

In recent years ,we have got 4 items of The National Natural Scincine Fund and 3 topics of province or ministry grade,the total assistance funds is over 1,000,000 yuan..

Won 2 second prizes and 1 third prize for science and technology’s progress.

Edited 2 monographs as vice-chief editor and participated in editing 5 monographs.

Ⅲ、teaching work

Up to now,we have finished directing 15 postgraduates and 3 doctors,trained over 50 hematologic specialists for army and local society.And recently we are going to recruit a postdoctoral study personnel.

Hold a Hematology meeting of PLA,.Comparing with the past,the number of attendance and papers is the largest,the academic level is the highest.

Hold an annual meeting of ChongQing haematology speciality technical committee,attract a lot of commissaries from Shanghai、Sichuan、Guizhou and several other areas besides Chongqing.Showed the whole strength of Chongqing’s Hematology speciality

Ⅳ、 Modern equipments of laboratory

In order to offer rapid accurate diagnosis and treat services，our department has built a modern speciality laboratory.In the laboratory，we can have a Synthetic test to blood diseases by using morphologic method of bone marrow、immunochemical method 、molecular biological method、genetical method，and we can also engage in those works such as collection and preservation of peripherial blood’s stem cells,culture of haematogenous cells.
We have a MCDS-2011 high acuity image/word system analysis apparatus, an imported CO2 cells incubator,an ultralclean operating boar,a series of equipments for froze preservation stem cells,a PCR analysis apparatus and some other large equipments.All these equipments not only provide a guarantee to our clinical work but also make it convenient to our science research work.
